The IVNTA is responsible for:

1. Maintaining an up-to-date list of members,
2. Keeping members informed regarding relevant information and events,
3. Maintaining regular communication with members,
4. Providing a channel of open communication for members,
5. Offering help and advice to enquirers.

This is coordinated by the secretary general. The current secretary general is Virginia Thomas VN.
